In my previous post, I compared the leading WordPress online course plugins. Today, I’m looking at membership plugins.

So what exactly is a membership plugin?

A membership plugin is a must if you’re going to get serious about selling online courses and products. With a membership plugin, customers will be able to register on your site, become members and gain access to private content.

Plugins do not necessarily change the appearance of your site…instead they restructure the inside  of your site so that you can create a membership site.

When members visit your site, they’ll be required to log in to access your super duper course content and resources. All your precious content will be locked away nice and snug for members only!

Before buying a membership plugin, you may want to consider:

  • the learning curve in setting it up
  • the e-commerce integration
  • autoresponder integration
  • and the overall user support or documentation offered.

I’ve rounded up the top five WordPress Membership plugins and supplied links so you can check them out for yourself!
